When I bought these oxfords, better known as derby’s, I had no idea that I would practically wear them everyday. I was going to buy a pair of McNasty’s or even Walk-Overs but straddling through my local mall one day I saw these babies at the Clark store and knew that I had to have them. Featuring a red brick sole and suede on the upper these emulate McNairy’s very well without the $340 USD price tag. Even an extra incentive to purchase them, they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased! I think it’s due to the ExtraLight material used to create the sole, but when I tell you it’s like walking on clouds, it really is like walking on clouds.
Although it may be winter, the shoes are perfect for those bitter sunny days and are even more welcoming when the spring hits us, as they go perfect with shorts, an opened up oxford shirt and contrasting leather belt.
Oh also a plus you can wear them with or without socks giving you more style options depending on how the weather may be in your area.
